Crewfather already keeps the jobs, the customers, and the schedule in one place. You can now ask the AI you already use about all of it.
Point Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, or any MCP client at your workspace. Then ask what is on tomorrow, who is assigned, or what is still open on a customer. The answer comes from the live records the office and the crew already share. Nothing new to type in.
This is not a partnership, a listing, or an endorsement. Those tools speak MCP, the same protocol Crewfather now exposes. If an AI can add an MCP server, it can talk to your workspace.
What you can ask
The connection uses the same workspace tools as the assistant inside Crewfather, minus a few in-app handoffs that only make sense on a phone or in the browser (requesting a photo, preparing an estimate, preparing an invoice).
That still covers the questions people actually ask at 6:45am:
- What is on the schedule this week?
- Pull up Riverside HOA: open jobs, last notes, the property.
- Who is assigned tomorrow, and what is still unscheduled?
A read-only key can only look. A full-access key can also create a job, add a note, or move a card. Start read-only until you decide otherwise.
How to connect
You need to be an owner or admin.
- Create a Developer API key under Settings, then Developer, then API. Treat it like a password: one per tool, copy it now (it is shown once), and revoke it if you stop using that tool.
- Open Settings, then Developer, then MCP. Copy the server URL. Each client on that screen has the exact fields or config it needs.
- Ask "What's on my schedule this week?" If the answer names real visits, the connection is working.
Step-by-step fields for Claude Desktop and ChatGPT, and what to do for Grok or any other MCP client, are in the help centre: Connect the AI you already use.
It works on every plan, including the trial. There is no add-on.
The assistant inside Crewfather is still there
Pro includes an assistant in the app, for people who want to stay in Crewfather. Connecting Claude, ChatGPT, or Grok is separate. It uses your own AI, through a key you control.
Crewfather does not send your workspace to those companies. You connect them. That arrangement is between you and the provider; they are not our subprocessors.
One more thing
The named apps are the ones people ask about first, not an exclusive list. If a tool can point at an MCP server, it can point at Crewfather.
